MORROW STUDIO

Privacy policy

Last updated: 6 September 2026

This policy explains how Morrow Studio (“Morrow”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit our website, contact us or buy our services. Morrow is the data controller for this information.

Information we collect

We may collect your name, business name, email address, business type, current website details, project requirements and anything else you choose to include in an enquiry. If you become a customer, we may also hold correspondence, project materials, billing records and information needed to provide and support your website. Our hosting provider may process limited technical data such as IP address, browser information and security logs. If you consent to analytics cookies, Google Analytics may also process information about visits, pages viewed, device and browser details, and approximate location.

How and why we use it

  • To respond to enquiries and provide requested information.
  • To prepare, deliver and support website services.
  • To administer payments, accounts and business records.
  • To protect the website, prevent misuse and resolve technical problems.
  • To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing our contract with you, complying with legal obligations and our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business. We will only send optional marketing where the law permits it, and you may opt out at any time.

Who we share information with

We only share information where needed with trusted suppliers that help us provide the service, such as website hosting, email, domain, payment, analytics and professional-service providers, or where required by law. We do not sell personal information.

International transfers

Some suppliers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we use providers and safeguards intended to protect personal information in line with UK data-protection law.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are normally retained for up to 24 months. Customer and transaction records may be kept for up to seven years where required for tax, accounting or legal purposes. Project materials and correspondence are kept only for as long as reasonably needed to provide support, maintain records or resolve disputes.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, including secure HTTPS connections, access controls and reputable hosting providers. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your personal information, receive a portable copy, or object to its use. You may also withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise a right, email hello@morrow-studio.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
